Ten Man Fulham Denies Arsenal Two Points In A 2-2 Draw

Mikel Arteta's side recovered from an early goal to lead 2-1 only for their poor concentration to cost them points in the dying minutes of the match.

The gunners looked like they were going to get all the three points on a rainy London evening at the Emirates stadium only for a slip in concentration to allow for an equalizer by the Cottagers.

Fulham scored their first goal less than 60 seconds into the match when Thomas Partey made an error gifting Andreas Pereira with an easy conversion past Aaron Ramsadale.

Bukayo Saka levelled the match from the spot-kick in the 66th minute after Fabio Vieira was brought down in the box just 9 minutes before Eddie Nketiah fired home the second to give the host the lead.

Despite Calvin Bassey earning a red card, Fulham refused to give up and finally got an equalizer in the 87th minute through Joao Palhinha conversion shot from a  corner cross.

The host were forced to share points in a rather disappointing evening since they thought they had all the three points in bag.

Arsenal will play Manchester United on Sunday at the emirates stadium while Fulham will play Manchester city on Saturday at the Etihad stadium.

Manchester united came back from two goals to beat Nottingham forest 3-2.

Tottenham beat Bournemouth 2-0,Brentford drew 1-1 with Crystal palace, Wolves beat Everton 1-0 while Brighton lost 3-1 to West ham.

The World Cup of shocks continued on Friday as wily Croatia dumped favourites Brazil out on penalties. Brazil are gone, out of the World Cup that they always seemed so likely to win. They were favourites in this game and likely would have been in all of the ones to come. That didn't matter to Croatia as they fought harder than before to eliminate the 5 times winners.
