The Same Old Arsenal!

Mikel arteta side started the pre season friendly of the summer with  a loss in Easter Road on Tuesday.
The squad which consisted mostly teenagers and young talents were unable to overcome the threat of Hibernia conceding a defeat of 2-1.
However,Arteta made several changes at half-time, with Lacazette, Pepe, Partey, Smith Rowe and Folarin Balogun all coming on.
This changes certainly led to a far better Arsenal performance after the break, with the visitors dominating the majority of the second half.
Hibernia were the first to score in the 21 minutes rather than the visitors who looked more threatening.
Okonkwo’s unfortunate mistake was punished by Boyle's finish at an empty net after the Nigerian international missed a backpass.
The 20 year old keeper who just signed a new contact with Arsenal begun his first pre season match with an error.
Arsenal missed a couple of chances as Eddie Nketiah missed an open one in the first half and Reiss Nelson also failing to hit the target with an obvious scoring chance.
Kevin Dabrowski, the Hibernian keeper denied pepe a chance to be on the score sheet as he saved his penalty.
Hibernian doubled their lead with Mackay left unmarked from a corner to head home from close range on 69 minutes.
Arsenal trailed with 2 goals behind until Smith Rowe made it 2-1, with eight minutes remaining finishing off a far post volley from Hector Bellerin’s cross.

Mikel Arteta,Had the following to say to Arsenal Media after the defeat.
"
Well I'm always disappointed when we lose a football match but it is the first game, we played with many kids and we only had four training sessions. We've trained really hard and you could see that the players were a little bit leggy. I think we conceded the first goal, an accident, and the second goal was clearly offside. We created many, many chances but we didn't score. That's what pre-season is for, to take the things that we haven't done well into a training session and then improve."

Arsenal will face rangers FC on Thursday in their second friendly match in Scotland.

on facing Rangers next Arteta responded
"
It's a very good game for me especially because I played there and it is a really special place. I'm looking forward to that game."

This loss doesn't matter much to Arteta as he looks to improve the team as they train for the premier league.
