Frank Lampard side were back to winning ways on saturday night against the relegation threatened Watford. Chelsea displayed a good game having upto 78% of ball possessions and scoring three classic goals at the Bridge  Chelsea lost last week in their trip to Westham in the London Derby and were at risk of being pushed back from the top four finish after Manchester united thrashed Bournemouth earlier in the day and were two points past them. The blues made some few changes to the starting eleven that lost in the derby. Kurt Zouma replaced Anthony Rudiger in the central defence while James replaced Alonso in the left back. Lampard wasnt happy with his defence against Weatham and thats why he had to make the changes. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side continued with their unbeaten run in 16 consecutive matches in all competition. Bournemouth were the first to register a score when Junior Stanislas shot past David Degea in the 15th minute of the game to give Bournemouth the much needed lead. Manchester city made a statement in their premier league encounter with the newly crowned champions - Liverpool. City who were playing at home thrashed the reds 4-0 in a one sided contest at the Etihad. The match began by a  guard of honor from manchester city players as they showed respect and sportmanship to Liverpool who were declared champions last week after City lost to Chelsea.  Liverpool played a good game in the first 20 mins of the match with various attempts at goal including salah's shot at the goal post. But almost immediately after Joe Gomez tangled clumsily with Sterling to concede the penalty, the balance of play emphatically shifted City’s way. Westham United came back from a goal behind to win against the visting Chelsea 3-2. Chelsea were the first to score from the spot through Wilian in the 42nd minute after pulisic was maliciously taken down in the bix only 9minutes after the Hammers goal was disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee. Manchester United thrashed Brighton 3-0 on Tuesday night football as the premier league resumed from the FA cup competition over the weekend. The emirates FA cup campaign continued over the weekend with various matches. Manchester united won against Norwich citt with 2-1 in a match that went to extra time after the deadlock couldn't be broken. Harry Maguire scored a late extra time goal in the 118th minute to book. A spot for manchester at the semi finals. This is after the match drew 1-1 in regular time. Chelsea won 1-0 against Leicester City to grab the ticket for the semis. Manchester United are through to the FA cup semi finals. This is after beating Norwich City 2-1 in the cup quarter finals. The match started rather on the low with no shots on target for both teams in the first half. Odion Ighalo fired the first shot at goal in the 51 minute which landed at the back of the net breaking the deadlock. The 30 year old wait for Liverpool was finally over. Klopp's side won the league last in 1990 and its been a long wait but the crown is finally theirs. Liverpool won against crystal palace on Wednesday night hence they needed only two points to be champions. All the players, fans and all the staffs at Liverpool had their eyes at stamford bridge in last night clash between second placed Manchester City and Chelsea. Arsenal are yet to win a match since the resumption of  league after 100 day break due to the corona virus pandemic. The Gunners lost 2-1 at home against Brighton, on Saturday encounter which followed only 3days after their defeat against Manchester city at the Etihad stadium on Wednesday.  Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno got injured in the game after a needless poor challenge from Brighton's Neal Maupay's forcing him to be carried off pitch in pain.
