Christian Pulisic Shines As Chelsea Beat Watford
Frank Lampard side were back to winning ways on saturday night against the relegation threatened Watford.
Chelsea displayed a good game having upto 78% of ball possessions and scoring three classic goals at the Bridge
Chelsea lost last week in their trip to Westham in the London Derby and were at risk of being pushed back from the top four finish after Manchester united thrashed Bournemouth earlier in the day and were two points past them.
The blues made some few changes to the starting eleven that lost in the derby. Kurt Zouma replaced Anthony Rudiger in the central defence while James replaced Alonso in the left back.
Lampard wasnt happy with his defence against Weatham and thats why he had to make the changes.
Oliver Giroud also made it back to the starting eleven and scored the first goal for the blues after getting an assist from Rose Barkley in the 28th minute.
The American skipper Christian Pulisic continued to impress as he won a penalty for chelsea and was clinically converted by Wilian in the 43rd minute.
Pulisic was the most fouled player in the game and has won two consecutive penalty for the blues in the last two matches.
The American also won a free kick against westham which Wilian scored and has really impressed not only the fans but also his coach making him a regular start since the break.
Ross Barkley made it painful for Watfotd when he scored the finisher in the 90th minute of the game making it 3-0.
Chelsea are now in fourth position with 57 points after playing 33 league matches.
They will be hosted by Crystal palace on tuesday in their next league action.
