The Legendary Number 7 Back With A Brace!

 Christiano Ronaldo made an impressive debut to Manchester United with two goals against Newcastle United in their 4-1 win at Old Trafford on Saturday.


The Portuguese international left the club in 2009 to join Real Madrid after winning three premier league trophies with the red devil.

He then went to Juventus before making his historic return to the premier league.The atmosphere ahead of kick-off felt more akin to a Ronaldo testimonial than a Premier League game. Thousands of people in CR7-branded shirts flocked to see the prodigal son return to Old Trafford.

The prodigal son left at only the age of 18 and has returned at  36-year-old better and more experienced than ever .

Ronaldo scored the first goal after Newcastle goalkeeper punched the ball on his runway giving  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side the much needed lead.

His second goal proved that he still got it even at his age , Luke shaw drove forward, and slipped the ball through him and he raced onto the pass and produced a neat finish through the legs of Freddie Woodman.

Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard both scored great goals to put the seal on a 4-1 win but they were mere footnotes in the latest chapter of Ronaldo's remarkable career.

Manchester city survived with a narrow win against Leicester City.Bernado Silva only goal secured Manchester city the much fought for three points.The winger, who could have left in the transfer window, sparkled as the champions beat Leicester City 1-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Romelu Lukaku scored a brace as Chelsea beat Aston Villa at Stamford bridge.Mateo Kovacic also scored for the first time in Stamford bridge since joining the club.

Thomas Tuchel side were impressive as they displayed team work and resilience against Villa.Eduadrdo Mendy kept a clean sheet saving a couple of chances from the opponent.

Romelu Lukaku is proving that he might have been the missing piece for Chelsea.The Belgian scored the first and the third goal to comfortably give Chelsea all the 3points.This brace gives him 3goals in 3league matches since joining the club.

Elsewhere, Arsenal got their first win of the season thanks to Pierre Emarick Abumayeng finish at an almost empty goal after Pepe's shot hit the woodwork twice.

This win moved Arsenal to position 16 and out of the relagation zone.

Watford lost to Wolves 2-0 at home while Brighton beat Brenford 1-0 away.

Crystal palace hammered 10 men Totenham 3-0 at home as Southampton ended goaless against Westham.

Liverpool travels to Leeds at 18:30 EAT in another league game.
