Manchester United were back to winning ways beating Totenham hotspurs 3-0. The red devils went to this game in north London with alot of tension having been humiliated by Liverpool at Old Trafford last week. Solskjaer had to find a way to stop the bleeding. Harry Maguire did not need to look at the defensive statistics tables, where United sit bottom, to know the defending has been abysmal so far this season.United conceded nine goals in their last two league games. Switching formation, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer set his stall out with a three-man central defence and a two-man strike partnership which Ronaldo was, of course, a part. The gameplan worked, with this arguably being United's most controlled performance of the season.
